My name is Stephen Curtis and having enjoyed taking photos for as long as I can remember, until recently I had never taken it seriously. However, since the dawn of the internet and the numerous sites available for storing and sharing photos, I have become more and more interested in my digital photos and the aim of this blog is to begin sharing my work with the world.
There are two main streams to my photography; iphonongraphy and pictures taken with my DSLR…
iPhonography is more of a hobby than a serious venture however I enjoy it imensely and am fairly surprised by the quality of the images I have been able to produce using iPhone/iPad apps. Most of the pictures have been taken using an iPhone 4S and some with a Canon EOS 60D however all have been manipulated or processed on an iOS device in some way or another. The pictures range from from abstract, graphic works to black and white shots.
The projects taken on with my DSLR are my latest venture and this is something that is currently in its infancy. I bought my first DSLR, a Canon EOS 60D back in October 2011 and I am now in the process of getting to grips with it. I hope I can share some of my experiences of learning how to use it as well as sharing the resultant shots. Either way, it’s going to be a bit of a journey.
